The challenge:
Our customer Omnifab needed to fit out their industrial machining department with 14 technician workstations. In addition to sturdy, industrial-quality workstations, they wanted to be able to make modifications and adapt to their future needs.
They called on our industrial expert to equip their mobile mechanical workshops with the aim of creating custom storage for their tools and equipment in two trailers, while ensuring that the equipment matched the brand’s colors.
The solution:
Our project manager Valérie Fiset designed the following solution; manufactured by our partner Rousseau and delivered by the experts at Pedlex.
14 workstations with :
- LED lighting
- Two sturdy tool cabinets (400lb capacity per drawer) 24 “D X 34 “H with dividers and depth dividers for drawers and central lock
- Two 42 “W x 14 “D x 21 “H wall-mounted storage pedestals with integrated sliding doors
- Computer/LCD monitor stands with double articulation
- All in one of 20 standard colors from our partner Rousseau metal
Sturdy storage cabinets with :
- Heavy-duty drawers with one-at-a-time opening, 100% extension and central lock
- Customized drawers with top opening for toolbox storage and easy access to tools
- Overhead storage cabinets
- In addition to ergonomic warehouse workstations, the customer required a U-shaped checkout counter, which was designed with sturdy cabinets with stainless steel tops, heavy-duty R drawers and sliding shelves.
The project was manufactured and delivered quickly, thanks to our agreements with Quebec suppliers and our large inventory. We keep a large inventory of tool chests, work tables, shelving and much more which allows us to respond quickly to your needs.
